Harvard ex-president Summers Leaves from AI Company's Directors
One-time economic leader Larry Summers is exiting the directorate at the artificial intelligence firm, just several days after a series of emails between him and deceased financier the disgraced billionaire became public.
Summers stated in a statement that he was "grateful for the opportunity to have contributed, enthusiastic about the promise of the organization, and eagerly await following their progress".
The prominent academic, who formerly led Harvard University, announced on recently that he would be stepping back from public responsibilities due to his association with Jeffrey Epstein.

The newly public communications demonstrated that the official corresponded with the financier until the eve of the financier's 2019 detention for accused trafficking of young people.
In a separate statement, the technology organization said it accepted the economist's decision to resign.
